I am a Registered Nurse with almost 38 years of nursing experience. I specialize in Vascular Access Nursing and hold the Canadian certification in vascular access and infusion therapy (CVAA(c). My experience consists primarily in vascular access and infusion therapy (VAIT) and critical care. I hold membership in various professional nursing organizations. As a clinician I have practiced in policy creation, teaching, coaching and insertion of peripheral and central venous access devices and care of patients undergoing high risk infusions as well as standard intravenous therapies.
