Having worked in rural Ontario and tertiary care settings, and even Health Canada's remote fly-in nursing clinics. Joan's impressive career includes multiple certifications in emergency nursing, trauma, and advanced life support for adults, children, and neonates. With her extensive experience as a staff nurse, head nurse, and charge nurse, Joan has a keen eye for identifying issues faced by attorneys when navigating medical records and determining applicable standards of care. As the owner and lead consultant at JD+Legal Nurse Consulting for the past six years, she's assisted in diverse and challenging cases.
