Biographical Info Monica Hlywka is a highly motivated practitioner with several years experience in the healthcare sector specializing in healthcare practice improvement. With greater than 20 years critical care experience and greater than 15 years as a nursing educator in acute care, Monica has the ability to provide expert knowledge on current practice standards. Specializing in healthcare education and professional practice, Monica has an excellent track record for meeting quality driven goals within the hospital sector. As a leader in numerous initiatives involving practice change and knowledge transfer Monica has the expert knowledge and skills needed to provide consultation on medical legal cases concerning acute and critical care practice. Interests include, advanced resuscitative care for adults and children (ACLS and PALS), intensive care unit care concepts and standards of practice, acute care nursing practice and clinical instruction to all levels of nursing students in the BScN program.
